Secretary of State to Issue Appeal Decision on First Major Charlton Riverside Masterplan Application

Charlton Riverside was first identified by The Mayor of London in 2008 with the Charlton Riverside SPD being adopted 4 years later in 2012. Prop Cos and the Royal Borough of Greenwich have been acquiring land interests in the Master Plan Area but to date no permissions have been successful. The VIP industrial Estate on Anchor & Hope Lane was the first to be submitted and was refused, subsequently called in by Sadiq Khan and refused again and was finally subject to an Appeal in November 2019. This long awaited decision could be the catalyst that will see further applications form Hyde Housing, Montrose, U&I

and small land holders come forward. What this space June 2nd 2020 the decision is expected.
